P.S. I'm actually thinking I should try to "market" this mouse food. I don't know how many others have been faced with this problem. If anyone has any thoughts or comments as to weather or not this is a needed product I'd love to hear from you.
I've just swung through here from Hoppo Bumpo's blog to tell you THANK YOU for the royal icing recipe! I have no allergies to deal with around here, but our religious requirements include no eggs, which means no royal icing, and I have wanted a decent recipe for it my whole life! lol I can't wait to try it out!
ReplyDeleteYou have an amazing looking blog...I'll be sure to recommend it to my friends who ARE struggling with allergies! :D
Oh how sweet, thank you! I hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteAllergy Mom,
ReplyDeleteAre you saying that you're making gluten-free peanut-free pet food for your new pet mice?! What a riot!
Yes,
ReplyDeleteAND dairy free! I know, it's absurd isn't it!?
By the way, just so there's no mistake...this recipe is human food, not mouse food...although come to think of it, they'd probably love it! ;)
I JUST got a pet mouse. I haven't had a pet rodent in years, and now I'm having a lovely time with the peanut reaction.
ReplyDeleteCould you let me know what your mouse food recipe is?
I actually did find this food (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Small-World-Complete-Feed-Hamster-Gerbil-5-lb/10449498) at Wal Mart. It is made in a facility that handles peanuts, but it does not CONTAIN any peanuts. After reading all of the nutrition requirements I realized that I would have to add vitamin suppliments to the mix I was making. Basically though it was sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, dried corn, millet, and oats. Best of luck to you and your new pet!
