Lucy's Cookies Giveaway- Gluten Free, Egg Free, Dairy Free, and Nut Free!!!

After receiving only a couple of responses to my last giveaway, I spoke to a few people and realized it was because so many of my readers simply couldn't eat the product due to multiple food allergies. That was when I decided to contact Lucy's Cookies and see if they would be interested in hosting a giveaway...and they said yes! Lucy's cookies are amazing!!! They are crunchy, which insures a much longer shelf life, the texture and taste are wonderful, they are easy to find (available at Starbucks...and you know how easy THEY are to find), and best of all every Lucy's cookie is certified free of gluten, eggs, dairy, tree nuts, and peanuts. In addition, these cookies contain no cholesterol and no trans fats, they include many organic ingredients, and they are vegan and Kosher certified.

Lucy's sent me a very generous variety of cookies to sample and review, and they are going to send this same package to one very lucky winner right here! This package includes one bag (3 or4 cookies) and one box ( about 16 cookies) of each of their four flavors: Chocolate Chip, Sugar Cookies, Oatmeal, and Cinnamon Thins.

I'm not really sure how to go about reviewing these cookies, they are all just so good. I have eaten half a box of Cinnamon Thins as I've been sitting here writing. We also discovered over the summer that the Cinnamon Thins are a great replacement for graham crackers when making s'mores! The general opinion in my house is that the Chocolate Chip are amazingly similar to Chips Ahoy. Nikki's favorite is the Oatmeal Cookie. My favorite is the Cinnamon Thin followed closely by the Sugar Cookie. They both taste very "eggy" and "buttery" to me which is very hard to do with no eggs or butter. The texture of all of these cookies is crunchy, but not too hard. The flavor is hard to describe, I want to make sure I do it justice. These cookies contain bean and oat flours so they actually have a hearty taste, not like some other gluten free options that taste like sugary air. It is a full and earthy flavor, but "earthy" in a good way and not bitter at all.

If you would like a chance to win this fabulous gift box, please leave me a comment below!!! Emily will be drawing the winning name from a hat on Monday, October 18th. In the mean time, next time you are in Starbucks you should definitely grab a bag and give them a try! Lucy's cookies are also available at Whole Foods and Amazon, which you will find a link to at the right of this page. Good luck to everyone! :)

I have never heard of these before and i'm trying really hard not to run to starbucks right now to get them! It's hard to find a "safe" cookie that actually tastes good so i'm very excited!
We would love to win this cookie package!

Since I missed out on the last giveaway, I'll throw my hat into the ring again! :) We don't have a starbucks anywhere near me, so I can't even go try these out!

Thank you both for your comments, I'm excited too! Mommy Michel you were actually the reason I decided to do a Lucy's giveaway when we realized you couldn't do Ian's. Also, in one of my comments I called you "Michelle". I'm not sure why, but that's how Michel had translated in my head. Anyway, I wanted to apologize...it's been bugging me. :)

They sound great! What a fun give away. I have only been a part of this allergy world for 5 months. My son had an anaphalactic reaction at 10 months old so I am always looking for products that work for him!

welcome Hultman family. I just took a look at your blog, Landon is precious! I did read that you are avoiding oats. Is he allergic to oats, or is it gluten cross contamination that you are concerned with? These cookies do contain oats, but they are certified gluten free. I just want to make sure, we don't want to make any beautiful babies sick! :)

We would love to try these. Our little guy is allergic to wheat, milk, eggs, peanuts, shellfish, bananas, and berries. It is always fun to find something new for him to eat.

Awesome! It is a challenge to find easy and packable treats to accommodate my multiple-allergy child. Who would of thought they would be at Starbucks. I'll have to check them out! Thanks!

Yes, thank you for checking! It is the cross contamination that we are concerned with. For now our allergist just said avoid oats to be safe so we are going completely gluten free for now.

My son has multiple food allergies, and I'm sure he would LOVE to try these out! I have my own homemade recipe for chocolate chip cookies, but the convenience of these cookies is great! We'd love to win! Thanks for the post!

We have not had an opportunity to try these yet and would love to do so. Our daughter has egg, dairy, and nut allergies, among others, and it would be nice to find ready-to-eat cookies that taste good! We would be so thrilled if we got this cookie package!

I had planned on welcoming each visitor individually, but I didn't expect such a huge response. Welcome and thank you to everyone who has left a comment. I'm not so sure I like only having one prize to give away. As I read each of your blogs and your "about me's" and get to know each of your stories, I find myself wishing I could send gifts to everyone. :)

What a blessing to have a pre-made cookie available, that actually tastes like a cookie! I usually end up baking because my daughter is allergic to, Milk, Egg, Egg Whites, Wheat, Peanuts and lots more. I will keep my eye out at Starbucks next time I'm there! Thank you for sharing!

I am so thankful for Lucy's cookies, but sadly we don't get them very often.
Starbucks is the only place I can find them in Alaska... and they sell for $2 for a bag. I love putting these in my son's lunch for a treat, but usually only do this once a week or so.
I have scoured the stores in the Anchorage area (very limited selection of Allergy-Free items) and can't find them.
I need to just get online and order them direct.
Lucy's rock!

Hi! I just found your blog today, and I'm so excited to find another special treat I can give my son. He's allergic to dairy, and we just found out (the hard way) also peanuts. Hope I win!

Mmm... these sound wonderful. My son would love to try them! He's got allergies to dairy/egg/peanut and has celiac, so it's difficult to find cookies that fit the bill!

Thanks,
Colleen
